I didn’t plan on becoming a designer. I actually started university studying mathematics because I loved logic and problem solving, but I kept feeling pulled toward creativity. I wanted a career where I could think deeply and make beautiful things. That’s how I found UX and product design, and it felt like the first time something really clicked.
Since then, I’ve worked with teams at WSIB, Questrade, LCBO, and CIBC, designing within real systems, real constraints, and real business goals. Those experiences taught me how to think beyond screens and focus on what really matters: clarity, structure, and outcomes.
Over time, I realized I care a lot about how things feel, not just how they work. I love design that’s clear and intentional, but still has personality. The kind of work that feels effortless to use, but obviously cared about.
Lately, I’ve been rebuilding my creative side. Exploring web design, motion, and AI tools, and experimenting more freely. That’s what my Playground is for, a place to practice, learn, and try ideas without turning everything into a case study.
When I’m not designing, I’m usually journaling, reading, or collecting inspiration from everyday life.
